Sissons is a Leeds based family run business traditionally specialising in Transportation, now providing transport for many blue chip companies. We can transport dry freight, non hazardous goods. We offer a UK wide delivery service. Sissons pride ourselves on placing technology issues on the forefront of our agenda.

    Communications: We are also in the process of developing our Video Conferencing facilities in order to communicate more effectively with our business partners, our three sites, and also the academic institutions. Video Conferencing is becoming an essential tool in the global business world, where effective communication techniques are increasingly being given the highest priority in every industry.

Sissons run our own in-house transport software developed by our specialist programmers.

We also have all the usual suspects as a modern forward thinking organisation, including high speed broadband, VOIP and internet fuel tracking.

All our vehicles are fully equipped with digital cellular phones, giving full flexibility of international use, and features like "Text Messaging", and an excellent answering facility. This means that customer's loads can be tracked and monitored at every stage of transportation. Our excellent customer service policy is not only centred on our customers, but also our drivers too. We believe in treating our drivers the best possible way we know how, by developing a strong lasting trust which encourages innovation, motivation and makes the driver feel part of the company. We are currently in the process of investigating satellite navigation systems whereby customer's loads can be instantaneously tracked for convenience, which ensures consistent maximum efficiency.
 

  
    Telematics
     
  All the new MAN trucks are fitted with the MAN telematics, which provide us with weekly eco-style fleet stat reports and individual vehicle/ driver KPI reports. These reports show what each truck has done during the previous week and how it is being driven. The driver is measured against 7 KPI’s and if driven correctly the resulting MPG will be the best that could be achieved during the course of the week. All our drivers have attended a 1 day training course provided by MAN trucks that has further developed their driving skills and is focused on achieving the best results from the MAN product.
